I love Daredevil and I loved it when Marvel rebooted the character way back when with Kevin Smith, and yes I loved the movie, yes, the one with Ben Affleck.
So naturally, when I hear there's a new min-series coming out called Shadowland that's supposed to show Daredevil's darker side, i get excited.
Honestly for a super-hero, and for one that is a mainstay for one of the big two (marvel and dc), daredevil is already pretty dark. His morals are skewed, he is arguably the most selfish mainstream super hero around, and he does questionable things.
This is why I love DD.
But this new mini-series Shadowland seems to suggest that DD is going to be doing even more questionable things, if you check out ign.com they have art for potential covers 1 and 2 of the 5 part mini. the cover for issue 2 shows 2 guys in black suits, one is clearly bullseye and the other looks like DD but his suit is black, and it looks like DD is killing Bullseye!
so this is shocking, again for a mainstream marvel super-hero this is not common place. Which means i'm going to read this series and probably love all of it.
You should read it too.
Also, the cover for issue one makes DD look very devilish. I loved it as soon as I saw it and I now want to get a poster of it!
the mini-series starts july 8 2010.
